Government Degree College, Darlaghat, District Solan, is situated on the Shimla-Bilaspur Kangra Highway (NH-205), just over a kilometer ahead of the Darlaghat Bus Stop towards Bilaspur. It overlooks the charming and picturesque Darla Hills.
The College was established on May 23, 2017, with the aim of making quality higher education accessible to Darlaghat and its surrounding regions. Since then, it has been operating in a privately hired complex.
The College has received administrative approval for a whopping ₹14.56 crore and acquired 43.1 bighas of land in the villages of Kotla Pujariyan and Kotla Numhal on Darla Hill, courtesy of the Education Department. Construction work is progressing steadily. In the academic session 2026-2027, students can expect to enjoy the benefits of state-of-the-art facilities in the college campus......
